Course Overview
Course Description
Take your SOLIDWORKS modeling skills beyond conventional part modeling and learn how to create complex, organic, multi-body, and advanced mechanical components using professional modeling techniques.
This advanced course focuses on the tools and workflows required to create complex geometry that goes beyond basic extrusions, revolves, fillets, and patterns. You will learn how to work with multibody parts, advanced splines, 3D sketches, sweeps, advanced sweeps, lofts, boundary features, threads, library features, advanced fillets, surfaces, and direct editing techniques.
The course is highly practical and exercise-driven. Each major topic is reinforced through hands-on modeling exercises ranging from automotive and consumer products to mechanical components and complex transitions.
You will also learn how to control complex geometry, maintain smooth transitions, manage external references, reuse modeling features, and select the appropriate SOLIDWORKS feature for different modeling challenges.

What Makes This an Advanced Course?
This course moves beyond simply learning individual commands.
You will learn how to answer questions such as:
How do I model this complex shape?
Which feature should I use?
How do I control the shape of a sweep?
How can I create smooth transitions between profiles?
How do I repair or modify complex geometry?
How can I reuse a feature in multiple designs?
How do I manage multiple bodies within one part?
The focus is therefore on advanced modeling strategy + feature control + complex geometry + practical exercises, not just command-by-command software training.
